La' James International College Invites the Community to Fall Into a New Career During Open House Week, October 27–31

Week-long event features hands-on classes, industry-exclusive Career Fair, and Open House Day with one-on-one career planning sessions

FORT DODGE, IA, UNITED STATES, October 19, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- [Iowa - Oct, 19th] La James International College (LJIC), a leading beauty school in Iowa with five campuses across the state, is inviting prospective students to explore careers in cosmetology, esthetics, nail technology, and massage therapy during its Open House Week, taking place October 27–31.

The week kicks off with a series of hands-on classes led by LJIC instructors, giving attendees a firsthand look at the training and skills taught in the college's beauty and wellness programs. Classes include:

Tuesday, October 27 (10am–12pm): Brow Mapping, Lash Extensions, Tinting and Lamination
Wednesday, October 28 (1pm–3pm): Elevate with Gelevate Nail Class
Thursday, October 29 (4pm–6pm): Color Theory
Friday, October 30 (10am–12pm): Makeup Special Effects

The week culminates in the college's signature Open House event on Saturday, October 31, from 9am–2pm. Attendees can reserve a Career Planning Session (CPS) appointment to meet one-on-one with the admissions team, enjoy refreshments throughout the day, and receive a special goodie bag if they enroll on-site.

Ahead of Open House Week, LJIC will also host a Career Fair on Thursday, October 22, from 10am–12pm, exclusively for current students and alumni. The event connects students and graduates directly with industry professionals, offering opportunities to network, explore job openings, and build relationships that can shape their careers after graduation.
